The Reserve Planning and Investing Operating Support Team (RPI) will provide support for the office of the Controller in two areas.

Reserve Planning 

  • Work done by RPI is a complement to work done by the Infrastructure and Facilities Committee (IFC) which is a Standing Committee. RPI assists with financial modeling work that is done to keep the HHHOA Reserve Study current and on a sound basis. The operational interface for RPI is with the HHHOA Controller.

·        RPI-OST will also interact with the Financial Affairs Committee (FAC) and with the Infrastructure and Facilities Committee (IFC). The latter provides critical input that is used for the capital budget process and for reserve planning.

Reserve Fund Investing

·         RPI will support the HOA Controller using investment strategy and security classes as stipulated in the HHHOA Banking and Investment Policy.

·        RPI will also interact informally with the Financial Affairs Committee (FAC) and with the Audit Committee (AC).  These committees have a range of responsibilities for overview of financial reporting, financial policies and review of internal controls.  The Audit Committee responsibilities in particular include review of Banking and Investment Policy and related procedures from the aspect on internal control.
