NO LIFEGUARD - SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK/NO DIVING PERMITTED
Heritage Highlands maintains a beautiful 25-yard recreational pool with a year round temperature range of 84-86 degrees. There is also a 15 ft. diameter therapy spa with an ongoing temperature range of 103-104 degrees. Our pool is shallow from 3 ft to 5.5 ft in depth which mandates that No Diving is permitted. We are proud to offer a saline chlorination system that offers a more pleasant swimming experience over traditional chlorinated pools.
Our swimming pool provides for multiple uses including recreational swimming, water walking, lap swimming, aqua aerobics and water volleyball. There are priority times listed below for certain activities. Heritage Highlands provides a generous five-hour period each day for family swim, when children under 18 are welcome in the pool. At times, scheduled programs may preempt children's hours because of high adult demand for water aerobics and water volleyball.
In 2008 Heritage Highlands purchased an energy-saving thermal covers for the swimming pool and spa. Using these covers helps prevent extreme heat loss over night and saves on our natural gas costs expense. For this reason, the pool closes at 8:30 pm. Members and their guests are permitted to use the spa as long as the cover is replaced before leaving the area. We are sorry, but for safety and liability reasons, only employees are authorized to install and remove the pool cover.
We are very proud of our pool safety record! This is the result of our members and their guests abiding by the Pool Rules found below and posted by the outdoor rinse shower inside the pool enclosure. Residents help ensure your guests a positive experience at our swimming pool by explaining our unique pool rules and swim times! |
