Mike Phillips, Assistant Superintendent
Mike was born and raised in Onawa, Iowa. He moved to Arizona to attend The University of Arizona where he earned his B.S. degree in Turf Management in 2006.
Mike began working at Heritage Highlands in 2005 as an intern with his college program. Mike has been an assistant superintendent with us since 2005.
Randy Slawter, PGA Apprentice Assistant Golf Professional
Randy was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. His background prior to entering the golf industry was in the automotive business. He has lived in Tucson since 2001.
Randy came to work at Heritage Highlands in 2006. He started on the bag staff, spent some time working on the golf maintenance crew to learn more about the business, He was promoted to assistant golf professional late in 2006. Randy passed his Player's Ability Test in the fall of 2008, and is currently working towards PGA membership.
Preston Otte, PGA Apprentice Assistant Golf Professional
Preston was born and raised in Burley, Idaho. He captained his golf team at Utah State University where he earned his degree in Human Resources in 2006. Preston has more than twelve years experience working in golf at public, private, and resort courses.
Preston came to work at Heritage Highlands in 2008 as an assistant professional. He passed his Player’s Ability Test in the fall of 2008, and is currently working towards PGA membership.
