Michael Veres

Michael worked under Chef Alan Zeman while training and graduated from the Arizona Chapter of The National Culinary Apprenticeship Federation in 1991 where he received an Apprentice of the Year Award.  He then worked as the saucier chef at The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas under Chef Dean Ferring.  When he returned to Tucson he helped open The King Fisher and the White Dove. He became chef at Daniel's Restaurant where he won five Silver Spoon Awards and was invited to cook at the James Beard House in New York - a very prestigious honor.  Michael was owner and chef at Cibaria Cucina Italiana for eight years, where he acted as owner and chef. Billy Brannock

Sous Chef Billy Brannock has been highlighted in the Arizona Daily Star and in 2008 was recognized as an "aspiring and capable chef." Billy's experience has been in private restaurants as well as the resort and hotel industry including the Hilton El Conquistador and most recently JW Marriott Starr Pass. His expertise leans toward Italian style cooking though his interests extend well beyond that as he continues to experiment with foods and styles of cooking.

Elizabeth Rehlander
Banquets and Catering Manager

Elizabeth is almost a native Tucsonan having lived here most of her life. She is married to Scott and they have two boys: Peyton 5 and Branden 3.  Elizabeth has over nine years of retail management experience and has worked at different restaurants. She has been with Heritage Highlands since late 2007 and says "it really feels like my second home, especially when I live only one-half mile away".  Elizabeth states "I love working with people and getting to know them. Dustin Bradley
Dining Services Supervisor

Born in Los Gatos, California, Dustin moved to Tucson in 1974 at age five. He received his Business Administration degree from Northern Arizona University and has a strong background in the food and beverage industry.

Dustin comes to us from Oro Valley Country Club where he was responsible for the daily operations and integrity of the restaurant, its services and the performance of its hourly employees. Dustin held the positions of banquet supervisor at Hacienda Del Sol and private dining captain/bartender at Putney's Sports Grill. Dustin also worked in dining services at Skyline Country Club in the 90s.

Dustin's knowledge and experience will be valuable to him in his position as Dining Services Supervisor for the Highlands Bar & Grille. (October 2011)
